The Speaker of the Republic\u2019s Assembly, Ziya \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler who is holding official contacts in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, together with members of the Turkish-Azerbaijani Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, met with Sahibe Gafarova, Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, as part of his visit.<\/p>\n
Speaking at a meeting held at the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, Gafarova expressed her pleasure at welcoming delegations from the TRNC, describing this as a tangible reflection of the strong bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and the TRNC.<\/p>\n
She emphasized that a number of issues aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations would be discussed during the forthcoming talks, and that key aspects of cooperation would be addressed.<\/p>\n
Gafarova stated that the meeting of delegations from Azerbaijan, T\u00fcrkiye and the TRNC in Baku represents a significant step in strengthening unity and brotherhood within the Turkic world. She added that the gathering would contribute to further deepening Turkic brotherhood, shaped by a common history and culture, across political, economic and humanitarian spheres.<\/p>\n
\u00d6zt\u00fcrkler, also expressed his great pleasure at being in Azerbaijan, emphasizing that the Turkic world is bound together by a shared history, culture and deep-rooted ties, and stating, \u201cWe are all children of the same nation.\u201d<\/p>\n
