The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was showcased in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, during the “TRNC Culture Day” event.<\/p>\n
The event was attended by Prime Minister \u00dcnal \u00dcstel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Atao\u011flu, Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Ambassador to Baku Birol Akg\u00fcn, TRNC Representative to Baku Ufuk Turganer, National Unity Party (UBP) MPs Ahmet Sava\u015fan and F\u0131rt\u0131na Karanfil, as well as officials from T\u00fcrkiye and Azerbaijan, and other distinguished guests.<\/p>\n
Prime Minister \u00dcnal \u00dcstel, Deputy Prime Minister Fikri Atao\u011flu, Azerbaijani Member of Parliament Javanshir Feyziyev and Chairman of the Icherisheher State Historical and Architectural Reserve Board, Rufet Mahmud delivered speeches at the event.<\/p>\n
In his address, Prime Minister \u00dcnal \u00dcstel celebrated June 15, National Salvation Day, a symbol of the unity and solidarity of the Azerbaijani people. He expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for his support in facilitating the event and thanked to Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov for the hospitality and attention extended throughout the visit.<\/p>\n
Prime Minister \u00dcstel also conveyed his appreciation to Tahir Budagov, Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party and Javanshir Feyziyev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan-TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group for their valuable contributions to strengthening the bonds of brotherhood between the TRNC and Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n
