{"id":152681,"date":"2026-06-29T13:40:05","date_gmt":"2026-06-29T10:40:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/?p=152681"},"modified":"2026-06-29T13:40:05","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T10:40:05","slug":"speaker-of-assembly-ozturkler-visits-turkpa-headquarters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/speaker-of-assembly-ozturkler-visits-turkpa-headquarters\/","title":{"rendered":"Speaker of Assembly \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler visits T\u00dcRKPA Headquarters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ziya \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler, Speaker of the Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, visited the headquarters of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (T\u00dcRKPA) and held a meeting with the Secretary-General of T\u00dcRKPA Ambassador Ramil Hasan and Senior Assembly officials, during his stay in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, to participate in the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC member states (PUIC).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement issued by the Assembly, \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler was accompanied by National Unity Party (UBP) MP Hasan K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck and Republican Turkish Party (CTP) MP \u015eifa \u00c7olako\u011flu, as well as the TRNC\u2019s Representative in Baku, Ambassador Ufuk Turganer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking during the meeting, \u00d6zt\u00fcrkler stated that the TRNC remained firmly comnmitted to its goal of deeper integrating with the Turkic world.
