{"id":152867,"date":"2026-07-10T12:35:46","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T09:35:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/?p=152867"},"modified":"2026-07-10T12:35:46","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T09:35:46","slug":"2nd-turkish-cypriot-cultural-festival-held-in-stockholm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/2nd-turkish-cypriot-cultural-festival-held-in-stockholm\/","title":{"rendered":"2nd Turkish Cypriot Cultural Festival Held in Stockholm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2nd Turkish Cypriot Cultural Festival, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), was held in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by TRNC Stockholm Representative Hakan Aksoy, the festival brought together T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;s Ambassador to Stockholm, Korhan Karako\u00e7, Press Counselor Ahmet Emre \u00c7etin, Culture Counselor Sibel Ba\u011fl\u0131 Bi\u00e7er, representatives of Turkish and Swedish institutions, and numerous guests.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the opening of the festival, Aksoy expressed his delight at bringing the spirit of the Mediterranean to the heart of Scandinavia and highlighted the deep-rooted history of Turkish Cypriot culture.<\/p>\n<p>The cultural program featured performances by Turkish Cypriot violinist Mustafa Fegan and soprano Burcu Kuru, alongside a traditional folk dance performance by the Turkish Cypriot Folk Dance Group.
