29th October Republic Day celebrations will begin with a speech by the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa, Ali Murat Başçeri, at 13.00 on BRT, and a 21-gun salute.
On the occasion of 29th October Republic Day, ceremonies will be held in all districts and sub-districts, especially in the capital Lefkoşa.
