31 March, 2015Zivania that is produced in Cyprus since the Venetian period is registered as a Geographical Sign and Traditionally Featured Product by the TRNC authorities.
Registration Certificate of the names of Geographical Signs and Traditionally Featured Products was given to Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry (CTCI) President Ali Çıralı by the Official Registry Office Director Ahmet Nergiz at an event organized at KTSO.
The document is not valid in Turkey or Europe but it is considered as a step towards launching a venture to Turkish Patent Institute and the European Union.
