23 August, 2016The second round of the intensified negotiations aimed at finding a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus problem will start today at 10am.
The meeting will be held at the building allocated by the UN for the negotiations, in the buffer zone.
President Mustafa Akıncı and the Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiades will hold seven meetings before their New York visit in the second half of September within the framework of the UN General Assembly.
The main goal of the meetings scheduled for today, 29 and 31 August as well as 2, 6, 8 and 14 September is to bridge the divergences which were reduced during the intensified negotiations in July.
