President Mustafa Akıncı condemned the brutal terrorist attack in Gaziantep and reiterated the TRNC’s solidarity with Turkey.
In his message of condolence, President Mustafa Akıncı stated: “Terrorist violence has manifested itself this time in the atmosphere of a wedding ceremony in Gaziantep. The aim of this inhuman act is undoubtedly to push Turkey into chaos and instability. On behalf of the Turkish Cypriot people I extend my deepest condolences for those who lost their lives and wish a speedy recovery to all those who were injured. May those who have lost their lives rest in peace.”
