29 November, 2016President Mustafa Akıncı received the UN Secretary General’s Special Adviser on Cyprus Espen Barth Eide.
Negotiator Özdil Nami, Spokesperson Barış Burcu, some negotiator team members and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Elizabeth Spehar were also present at the meeting.
Eide, who arrived on the island the night before, had face-to-face meeting with leaders for the first time after the meeting which was took place in Mont Pelerin, Switzerland on 21 November.
Espen Barth Eide also had meetings with Republican Turkish Party and Democrat Party yesterday and will meet with Democratic Rally Party (DISI) and Progressive Party of Working People (AKEL) from South Cyprus today.
Moreover, Eide will meet with the UK’s Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson tomorrow morning.
