13 January, 2017TRNC’s Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş was commemorated with ceremonies on the 5th anniversary of his death at TMT Monument.
In her speech at the ceremony TRNC Speaker of the Assembly Sibel Siber said that they remembered Rauf Raif Denktaş with respect on the 5th anniversary of his death.
Stating that Denktaş was the voice of the people with his superior talents in every platform, and was the leader with his intelligence, courage and knowledge in every difficult condition, Siber said that Denktaş announced the existence of Turkish Cypriot people to the whole world.
