13 January, 2017Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu has commemorated the late Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş with respect, gratitude, passion and mercy.
In his message issued on the occasion of the 5th. Death Anniversary of Denktaş, Minister Ertuğruloğlu stressed that as the time passes, Denktaş’s absence is being felt much more. Expressing that he was a statesman who devoted his whole life to Turkish Cypriot’s cause, Minister Ertuğruloğlu stressed that Denktaş’s struggle for the establishment of the TRNC and prosperity and safety of the Turkish Cypriot people will be remembered forever, and his works left behind will guide the young generations.
