3 March, 2017Economy and Energy Minister Sunat Atun visited “Gulfood Food and Drink Fair” in Dubai this week, one of the three most important food fairs in the world, where 11 food producers participated from the TRNC.
Organisation of stands and overall coordination of the fair was carried out by the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry (KTSO). Mainly hellim, dairy products and other foods such as ice cream, frozen dough products, coffee, halva and tahini were showcased in the 120 square meters stand area.
At the meeting held between KTSO Trade Fairs Coordinator Çağlar Türk and Economy and Energy Minister Sunat Atun, Türk said that the organisation had made the necessary applications for further enlargement of the area allocated to companies from the TRNC.
This year, the Gulfood Food and Drink Fair in Dubai was attended by more than 5 thousand people from 150 countries in the 120,000 square metre area. The fair has been visited by around 150,000 professionals.
