3 March, 2017The UN Secretary General’s Special Adviser to Cyprus Espen Barth Eide is expected to meet with the two leaders separately following the halt to negotiations.
According to information received from UN Cyprus Peacekeeping Forces Press Spokesman Aleem Siddique, Eide met with the Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Anastasiades at 11am this morning.
Eide is expected to meet with President Mustafa Akıncı at 10am tomorrow morning. Eide will also meet with the leaders of Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot political parties today and tomorrow.
Eide is expected to leave the island on Sunday, 5 March, 2017.
