6 May, 201942-year-old Jordanian national Sufian Mohammad Abdallah Marie who kidnapped his three children from South Cyprus was detected in the TRNC and has been handed over to the Greek Cypriot Administration via the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP).
The Jordanian man Sufian was detected in Gayretköy with his three children aged twelve, six and four and the Bi-communal Technical Committee for Crime and Criminal Matters was contacted.
Following contact with the Committee, they were handed over to officials from UNFICYP at Ledra Palace border gate who then handed them over to the Greek Cypriot Administration.
