9 September, 2019Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu arrived in the TRNC to hold some official contacts. Minister Çavuşoğlu will hold meetings with President Mustafa Akıncı, government officials and political party leaders regarding the Cyprus problem and the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Çavuşoğlu will be received by President Akıncı at 10:00 am today. Çavuşoğlu will also take part in a round table meeting that is being organized at the presidential palace at 10:35 am. The meeting will be realized with participation of President Akıncı and the political party leaders.
Furthermore, Çavuşoğlu will attend the lunch hosted in his honour by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay at 13:00 today.
Çavuşoğlu will also be received by Prime Minister Ersin Tatar at 14:30 and leave the island at 18:15.
