9 December, 2019The Minister of Labour and Social Security Faiz Sucuoğlu departed for Istanbul in order to attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s 1st Ministerial Conference on Social Development.
The conference which will be hosted by the Turkish Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services will be held between the 6-9 December.
Sucuoğlu will address the 1st Ministerial Conference on Social Development today (9th December).
Sucuoğlu also met with his counterpart of the Turkish Minister of Family, Labour and Social Services Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk. During the meeting between the delegations, the issues of cooperation between Turkey and the TRNC in the areas of work, social security and social services were also discussed. Sucuoğlu will also participate in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in General Health Insurance practices between the two ministries.
