15 December, 2021President Ersin Tatar attended a reception hosted by the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Cyprus and the Chief of the UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus, Colin Stewart at the Ledra Palace Hotel in the buffer zone in Lefkoşa yesterday (14.12.2021)
The reception was also attended by the Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Anastasiades.
The two leaders met again at the reception since their last meeting held in the presence of the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York on September 27.
In his speech during the reception, expressing that the reception was an informal event, Stewart celebrated the new year of everyone and wished more progress in the next year.
