25 January, 2024According to the statement made by the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, it was stated that there are some regulation restricting the transit of transporters registered in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to Southern Cyprus.
In the statement, it was noted “We have been informed that the Greek Cypriot administration of Southern Cyprus is making some regulations restricting the transit of transporters registered in the TRNC to Southern Cyprus.
As the Ministry, we respectfully announce to the public that we have held meetings with sector representatives and that we will take the necessary measures within the principles of reciprocity according to the steps to be taken by the Greek Cypriot administration of Southern Cyprus.”
