24 March, 2025Prime Minister Ünal Üstel conducted a series of high-level meetings in Ankara.
Following the 5+1 informal Cyprus summit held in Geneva, Prime Minister Üstel travelled to Ankara yesterday to continue his diplomatic contacts.
During his visit, Prime Minister Üstel met with the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Murat Kurum, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan.
According to a statement from the Prime Ministry, Prime Minister Üstel was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı, Minister of Finance Özdemir Berova, along with senior officials.
During the meetings in Ankara, the issues on economic cooperation between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Türkiye, transportation projects, financial support, and other important matters were discussed.
