President Ersin Tatar received Oktay Öksüzoğlu, who has been appointed to represent the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) within the Council of Elders, the advisory body of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
According to a statement from the Presidency, President Tatar congratulated Öksüzoğlu, who has served with distinction for many years at the TRNC Public Information Office and is also an accomplished poet and writer, and wished him success in his new role.
For his part, Öksüzoğlu stated that he would represent the TRNC in the Council of Elders of the Turkic World in the best possible manner.
