Erdoğan: “We emphasize great importance to ensuring TRNC is represented at the highest level within OTS”

President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that he observes the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) standing firmly with Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in support of a fair two-state solution.
Speaking at the 12th OTS Summit of held in the city of Gabala, Azerbaijan, President Erdoğan expressed his pleasure at the participation of TRNC President Ersin Tatar, following his visits to Ankara, Shusha and Bishkek and stated that the Turkic nations once again demonstrated their “solidarity, mutual respect, and brotherhood.”
“We are the ones who will strengthen the great Turkic world and leave it as a legacy to our children” Erdoğan said, adding, “I hope the Gabala Declaration we will soon sign and the decisions we take will bring prosperity to the Turkic world and all friendly nations.”
Erdoğan also underlined that Turkic states could play a more active role in maintaining regional stability and security.
