Prime Minister Üstel meets with Azerbaijani counterpart Asadov

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, who is in Baku to attend the Meeting of the Heads of Government and Deputy Heads of Government of the Organisation of Turkic States, has commenced his official contacts.

Within the framework of his visit, Üstel held an official inter-delegation meeting with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

The meeting marked the first official encounter at the level of prime ministers between the two sides. The Prime Minister underscored the importance of further strenghtening the existing ties of brotherhood through the implementation of concrete projects.

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Asadov for his part, underlined that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was an inseparable part of the Turkic world and noted that relations between the two countries were growing stronger by the day. The meeting covered a range of issues including tourism, education, economy, and working life and both sides discussing areas of potential cooperation.
