TRNC represented at 6th Turkic World Literature and Book Festival in Baku

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was represented at the 6th Turkic World Literature and Book Festival, held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from 22 to 26 May.

The TRNC was represented at the festival, which was organized with the support and coordination of the Department of Culture, by a delegation headed by writer and photographer Ceyhan Özyıldız, Director of the Culture Center of the Department of Culture, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Güneyli, an academic and specialist in children’s literature, and Dolgun Dalgıçoğlu, a musician and cartoonist also attended the festival.

Throughout the festival, Ufuk Arca Turganer, the TRNC Representative to Baku, accompanied the delegation and delivered a speech. Visitors to the TRNC stand were presented with books provided by the Department of Culture, along with brochures and informational booklets introducing Northern Cyprus.
