Undersecretary Ağa attends 5th Meeting of Secretaries of Security Council of OTS Member States in Baku

The 5th Meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

Organized under the auspices of Ramil Usubov, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, at the Heydar Aliyev Center, the meeting was attended by Viktor Makhmudov, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Adilet Orozbekov, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic; Aida Balaeva, Deputy Chairperson of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Mehmet Ağa, Undersecretary of the State Planning Organization (SPO) of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS. Okay Memiş, Secretary General of the National Security Council of the Republic of Türkiye, was also present at the meeting.

During the meeting regional security challenges in light of recent developments in the Middle East, national development opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence and other relevant issues were discussed.

The delegations exchanged views on the efforts to fulfill security-related tasks arising from the agreements reached by the Heads of State of the OTS Member States, as well as the provisions of the Gabala Declaration signed on 7 October 2025.
