6 December, 2016President Mustafa Akıncı is traveling to Brussels today for an official visit.
Akıncı, who will start a series of meetings in Brussels on Wednesday, will meet with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, the President of the European Parliament Martin Schultz and the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.
Akıncı will return to the island on Thursday 8 December 2016. He will be accompanied on the official visit by the Presidential Private Secretary Cenk Gürçağ, Special Adviser for Diplomacy and the EU Erhan Erçin and a member of the negotiating team, Third Secretary Sertaç Güven.
