President Mustafa Akıncı will depart for New York on Monday (23rd September 2019) to hold some contacts within the framework of the UN General Assembly.

Akıncı is expected to meet with the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to exchange views about the terms of reference which will pave the way for the restart of talks aimed at reaching a solution to the Cyprus problem.
