13 April, 2016President Mustafa Akıncı is going to Germany today upon the official invitation of the German Foreign Minister Frank Welter Steinmeier.
The main agenda topic of the President’s visit to Germany is the “Cyprus issue and the Turkish Cypriot people’s determination for a solution on the island”.
President Mustafa Akıncı will hold contacts in Berlin today, tomorrow and on Wednesday and will also meet with the German Foreign Minister Frank Welter Steinmeier.
Akıncı will depart from Germany on Wednesday, 13 April to go to İstanbul where he will attend the 13th Session of the Islamic Summit Conference which is being held in İstanbul between the dates of 14-16 April.
President Akıncı is expected to return to the island after his İstanbul contacts.
