Amcaoğlu attends 41st Ministerial Session of COMCEC in İstanbul

Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu attended the 41^st Ministerial Session of The Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) held at the Istanbul Congress Centre.

According to statement released by the Ministry, Minister Amcaoğlu emphasized that strengthening cooperation with the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries in all sectors remains a key priority in the country’s foreign policy as well as medium- and long-term economic strategy.

He also called for the participation of Turkish Cypriot athletes in the upcoming Islamic Solidarity Games to be hosted by Saudi Arabia.

Referring to the two-state solution based on sovereign equality, Amcaoğlu stated ‘It will be a great honour for us to serve and contribute to the OIC vision through the struggle for freedom, equality and justice.’
