16 October, 2024TRNC Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı participated in the World Congress 2024 organised by the World Road Federation (IRF) and hosted by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye.
According to the statement from the Ministry, IRF World Congress 2024 commenced in Istanbul with the opening address by the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan via video conference.
The congress held under the theme “Connecting to Empower Mobility: Roads as Enablers of a Sustainable Future for All” will end on 18 October.
IRF, which has been working for the development of roads and road networks that provide sustainable mobility since 1948, brings the leading names of the sector, public institutions and private organisations together in Istanbul this year.
