24 November, 2017This week, TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Sunat Atun attended the 33rd Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) meeting in İstanbul. COMCEC represents one of the four Standing Committees of the OIC and typically convenes under the chairmanship of the Turkish President. At the meeting, Minister Atun met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who led the Committee’s opening session, and Turkish Minister for Economy Nihat Zeybekçi.
Representatives from the relevant OIC institutions and international organizations were present, as well as Ministerial delegations from the 57-member countries. Participants, including the TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy, attended high level multilateral meetings organized by Turkey’s Ministry of Development.
