5 February, 2019The wife of the Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş, and mother of the Finance Minister Serdar Denktaş, who had been hospitalized in a critical condition at the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital died on Saturday 2 February, 2019. She will be laid to rest today.
Aydın Denktaş, who had health problems for a long period of time, was 85 years old.
The Deputy Chief Physician at the State Hospital said that Aydın Denktaş had been receiving treatment for the past month and was being treated at the intensive care unit due to multiple organ failure and pneumonia last week, she died on Saturday morning at around 8:20am.
