20 April, 2015Confidence of the Greek Cypriots in the ‘Republic of Cyprus’ has been lost following the bribe scandal in recent days.
Greek Cypriot daily Simerini noted that according to the result of a survey done by “IMR” company together with Nicosia University on 17 April 2015, 46 % participants of the survey expressed that ‘Republic of Cyprus ’ has been turned into a “Banana Republic” due to bribe scandals in the South Cyprus. 35% of participants expressed little confidence for justice, 14 % participants expressed enough confidence while 1% expressed high confidence for justice. In the survey, it was seen that one of two Greek Cypriots does not have confidence in justice.
