12 June, 2024The annual Martyr Lieutenant Caner Gönyeli Search and Rescue Exercise 2024 started yesterday (11/06/2024) and the land phase of the exercise was carried out in Girne St.Hilarion 101 Houses area.
President Ersin Tatar, 2nd. President Mehmet Ali Talat, Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu, Commander of the Cyprus Turkish Peace Forces Major General Sebahattin Kılınç, Commander of the Security Forces Major General Osman Aytaç, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, the late Lieutenant Caner Gönyeli’s wife Nükhet Gönyeli, military officials, some bureaucrats, many press members from the TRNC and abroad and military attaches from Bangladesh, Mauritania and Azerbaijan attended the exercise.
