President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu sent their congratulation messages to Akıncı via Turkish Embassy in Lefkoşa.
It was stated that President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a phone call to Akıncı yesterday morning and congratulated him.
