President of Cyprus Turkish Football Federation (CTFF) Hasan Sertoğlu stated that starting from yesterday, membership process to KOP has started. The letter regarding accession process was sent to FIFA, UEFA, KOP and Prime Ministry and Deputy Prime Ministry.

In his press conference regarding KOP-CTFF accession period which was organized at headquarter of the federation, Sertoğlu said that they will continue the process for the advantage of country’s sports and sportsmen.

Furthermore, adding that harmonization study should be made in 5 articles for the FIFA laws and regulations and one of these articles is the amendment of the regulation, Sertoğlu said that in 40-45 days, this amendment will be made and submitted to approval of the CTFF General Council.
