After the meeting he had with the General Secretary of United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon yesterday, Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu, stated that they also discussed the Cyprus issue. Davutoğlu also reminded that Turkish side supported Annan plan in 2004, and said “today I told to General Secretary Ban, we need a Ban Ki-moon Plan for solving the Cyprus Problem before his term of duty ends.”

Davutoğlu also stated that Greek side should return to the table and an international conference meeting should be realized as soon as possible. Davutoğlu carried on by saying: “Instead of one sided actions and provocations about natural resources in Cyprus, negotiation at the table will be more beneficial. We will do everything possible for a sustainable comprehensive peace.”
