Dr. Fazıl Küçük commemorated on the 42nd anniversary of his passing

Dr. Fazıl Küçük, the late leader of the Turkish Cypriot people’s struggle for existence and freedom, was commemorated on the 42nd anniversary of his passing with an official ceremony held at his mausoleum in Anıttepe.

Addressing the participants, during the ceremony, President Tufan Erhürman emphasized that Dr. Küçük was a transformative figure in the contemporary history of the Turkish Cypriot people. He highlighted that Dr. Küçük’s leadership was characterized not by detachment but by his presence within the community during the most critical and fragile periods of their struggle.

“I wish to emphasize that his unwavering faith in his people continues to illuminate our path today,” Erhürman stated, concluding his remarks by expressing deep respect, affection, and profound gratitude for the distinguished leader.
