16 June, 2023President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a press conference following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex and pointed out that one of the leading areas Türkiye has changed the status quo is foreign policy.
Erdoğan spoke as follows:
“We have reiterated our strong support to our Cyprus cause during our talks with TRNC President Ersin Tatar. We once again shared with the international community our red lines concerning the upcoming period. We, shoulder to shoulder with the Turkish Cypriot people, the inseparable part of the Turkish people, will maintain our struggle.
Stating that they will take all kinds of legal, economic and political steps to deepen the integration between Türkiye and the TRNC, President Erdoğan added that they will never allow the rights of Türkiye and the TRNC to be usurped.
