25 August, 2017Speaking to the Diyalog newspaper, former TRNC President Derviş Eroğlu said that the party which always left the negotiating table and refused to sign agreements throughout the course of the Cyprus negotiations had consistently been the Greek Cypriot side, and that this should be explained to the world.
Speaking to the publication, Eroğlu discussed domestic and foreign politics, saying “If the embargoes are lifted, the Turkish Cypriot people will feel very relieved. Countries – especially European countries – should lift these shameful and inhumane embargoes imposed on the Turkish Cypriots”.
