Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu met with Burhanettin Duran, Head of Communications of the Presidency of Türkiye, on the sidelines of the International Strategic Communications Summit (STRATCOM Summit) 2026.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the strong solidarity and unity between Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in the fields of communication and media, and assessed potential joint steps to more effectively convey the Cyprus issue at the international level.
Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu was accompanied by Zalihe Mendeli, Consul General of the TRNC in Istanbul, and Deputy Consul Serdar Durukan.
