30 June, 2017The Five-party conference was held at the Conference on Cyprus in Crans Montana this week. It was reported that the meeting was attended by only the leaders, negotiators and the Foreign Ministers or the representatives of the guarantor countries. The meeting lasted about two hours.
The parties, who attended the five party conference with 6 delegates for the last two days, participated in the conference with 2 delegates yesterday evening.
It was stated that ahead of the participation of the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres at the conference, there was an intense diplomatic traffic to ensure that the Greek Cypriot side takes steps towards political equality and active participation with the aim of the acceleration of the process towards a solution.
