Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu today attended the opening of the IDEF’17 13th International Defence Industry Fair.
The IDEF’17 13th International Defence Industry Fair, which was held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and hosted by the Ministry of National Defence. The event was organised under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TAFF), and realized with the cooperation of Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. on 9-12 May 2017. The IDEF Fair was placed among the most successful and conspicuous organizations on the international defence industry platform.
Minister Ertuğruloğlu attended the fair at the invitation of the Turkish National Defence Minister and President of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, Fikri Işık. He was accompanied by TRNC Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Mustafa Lakadamyalı, TRNC İstanbul Consul General Fahri Yönlüer and Consul Asu Muhtaroğlu.
Minister Ertuğruloğlu will have a meeting with Turkish National Defence Minister Fikri Işık today, and will hold various other meetings during the fair.
