Minister Ertuğruloğlu: “Take concrete steps to end the unjust isolation imposed on the Turkish Cypriot people”

Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu has met with Organization of Turkic States Secretary-General Kubanychbek Omuraliev at the Turkish House in New York.
Ertuğruloğlu expressed appreciation for Omuraliev’s contribution to strengthening cooperation across the Turkic world under the OTS and for his support for the TRNC as his term as Secretary-General draws to a close.
Ertuğruloğlu and Ömüreliyev underscored that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is an integral part of the Turkic World. They discussed steps to further strengthen cooperation between the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the TRNC in the period ahead and exchanged views on regional developments.
Ertuğruloğlu also raised the issue of the “unjust isolation” imposed on the TRNC and stressed the importance of OTS support in efforts to lift these isolations.
