27 July, 2016French Ambassador to Southern Cyprus René Troccaz met with the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Talip Atalay yesterday.
The TRNC Religious Affairs office strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in France and Turkey in a written statement, and expressed his sympathy for the victims of such cowardly attacks against innocent people.
The communication process between religious leaders from both sides, and its effects on the negotiations, were also discussed during the meeting.
