18 November, 2024Twenty-four people who fell martyrs as a result of Greek Cypriot attacks in the villages of Geçitkale and Boğaziçi were commemorated with a ceremony held on 15 November in Geçitkale Martyrdom.
Wreaths were laid, a minute’s silence was observed and the flags were raised during the playing of the national anthem.
Geçitkale-Serdarlı Mayor Halil Kasım also made a speech at the ceremony.
