13 May, 2015German Foreign Minister Steinmeier said he appreciates resumption of negotiations in Cyprus. In a written statement made by German Foreign Ministry, Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that the new steps taken by the TRNC President Akıncı and the Greek Cypriot leader Anastasiadis increased hopes for a solution and ending the division.
Steinmeier indicated that Germany will spend efforts for the solution of the Cyprus problem together with the international partners.
