UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that the sides in Cyprus should reach an agreement on terms of reference quickly in order to start comprehensive negotiations.

Guterres held a press conference in New York in respect of the 74th UN General Assembly meetings. Upon a question regarding what kind of a message he will give to both leaders in Cyprus, Guterres expressed “Sides should reach an agreement on the terms of reference quickly in order to start comprehensive negotiations. This is very important. I will convey this message to all leaders whom I meet”.
