21 October, 2015The United Nations’ report on the activities of the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage includes Turkish names of the settlements in Cyprus and the Greek Cypriot administration made initiatives on this issue.
Greek Cypriot daily Fileleftheros wrote that the “Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage” report, which is published in English and is sent to Greek Cypriot political parties and parliamentarians, includes the Turkish names of the settlements, and the Greek Cypriot deputy Yorgos Perdikis sent a letter of complaint to the Minister of Foreign Affairs regarding the issue.
According to the news, in response to the letter Kasulidis emphasized that all the necessary initiatives are being made in order to obey the law of the so-called “Republic of Cyprus” relating to the subject.
