Joint festival decision from the Cyprus Turkish and Greek Tradesmen

The Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (KTEZO) and the Greek Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (POVEK) decided to organize a joint festival under the auspices of Turkish and Greek Municipalities in Nicosia walled city.

In a statement from the KTEZO, the festival will be carried out with the intent of unification and for a solution in Cyprus.

The statement referred to the decisions taken at the meeting of the two organizations and according to this, POVEK and KTEZO always will take the common interests of their members as a base.

A joint committee will be formed in order to develop the cooperation between POVEK and KTEZO and to actualize the intended implementations. The aims and actions of both organizations will be for developing cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises.

The statement also indicates the issues that both POVEK and KTEZO agreed on and it is said that the cooperation will be within the framework of a possible solution, the union of Cyprus and the joint programs of the European Union.
