27 November, 2015The President of Religious Affairs Talip Atalay stated that the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Church Hrisostomos II, Armenian Archbishop Nareg, Maronite, Archbishop Yosif Sueyf and Latin Archbishop Jerzy Kraj made a joint statement that acts of violence cannot be within the framework of any belief system.
In their joint statement, the 5 religious functionaries referred to the terrorist attacks in Ankara, Sinai Peninsula, Beirut, Paris, Nigeria and Mali and condemned all kinds of violence against innocent people.
